British Airways World Cargo To Remove Fuel Surcharge (06/12/2001)
Following the recent fall in the price of fuel, British Airways World Cargo is pleased to announce that it will remove its £0.06p/kilo [or local equivalent] fuel surcharge worldwide with effect from 23rd December 2001, subject to any local governing authority approvals.
"Our policy has always been to review market conditions and economic forces on a monthly basis. We are delighted to pass on this cost saving to our customers as soon as we have been able to," said Keith Packer, Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing, British Airways World Cargo.
