British Airways World Cargo Launches 'Perform eOffer' Through GF-X (19/07/2002)

British Airways World Cargo has today launched 'Perform eOffer'. This is an on-line special pricing offer and will be available only through our preferred e-booking channel Global Freight Exchange (GF-X).

Perform eOffer, an extension to British Airways World Cargo's new Perform service, will give special eOffer rates on selected routes depending on space availability. The rates and destinations will change frequently and will be bookable in a three day departure window. Initially the eOffer will be available from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Manchester and Glasgow.

To celebrate the Perform eOffer launch on 19 July 2002 - for a period of one month - British Airways will be giving 2 return tickets for seats on the British Airways network to every 100th booking through the GF-X channel.

British Airways World Cargo already offers Perform capacity via GF-X from London, Glasgow, Manchester, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Brussels, Frankfurt, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Houston and Dallas.

Graeme MacLure, Global Distribution Manager, British Airways World Cargo said: "We are delighted to be able to introduce this offering to our GF-X customers. As an airline, we are committed to promoting this service, which we feel will be a major benefit to our GF-X customers. By the end of July 2002, airfreight space will also be bookable from all stations in the UK, France, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Sweden, Netherlands, as well as Singapore, Atlanta and Miami. Further developments will take place in the autumn as we continue to ramp-up across our network and we will also add our Express Product to this e-channel."

The launch of Perform eOffer follows the announcement by British Airways World Cargo of a portfolio of new products earlier this month.
