British Airways World Cargo appoints new General Managers (23/06/2005)

British Airways World Cargo has appointed Mark Gardiner to the role of General Manager London Operations, effective immediately. Ed Searancke has been appointed as General Manager Customer Delivery with effect from 27th June 2005.

Employed by BA World Cargo since 1986, Mark has held a number of commercial and customer service positions in the UK and Europe including his recent role as senior manager of Ascentis, the carrier's advanced cargo handling facility at Heathrow.

Ed Searancke, currently responsible for BA World Cargo's UK and Ireland field sales team and Gatwick operation, has worked for the carrier in a variety of positions since 1996. His new role will involve integrating BA World Cargo's planning activities and network operations.
