USA director of sales appointed (06/06/2007)

BA World Cargo today announced the appointment of Joe LeBeau to the position of director of sales, USA, effective 1 July 2007. Based in Atlanta, he will be responsible for all sales activities throughout the region and will report to David Shepherd, vice president commercial, the Americas.

Prior to this, LeBeau held several other key sales roles within BA World Cargo's north American division including regional key account manager, USA and sales manager, Los Angeles.

LeBeau has over 23 years experience within the industry, including 12 years working at BA World Cargo. In his previous position as global key account manager also based in Atlanta, he was responsible for managing several of BA World Cargo's largest global customer relationships.

David Shepherd commented: "This appointment recognises the wealth of experience and skills that Joe has gained in his time at BA World Cargo. I have no doubt that he will continue to be instrumental in strengthening our existing customer relationships and forging new business opportunities in the US and I look forward to working closely with him."
